孟加拉总理谢赫·哈西娜
佛教在线海外讯 据《BSS》报道,2009年8月26日,孟加拉Buddha Krishti Prochar僧伽会代表团在Buddha Krishti Prochar僧伽会会长的带领下在孟加拉总理办公室拜访了孟加拉总理谢赫·哈西娜,受到了总理的热情接待,并进行了亲切交谈。
在会谈的过程,Buddha Krishti Prochar僧伽会代表团告诉了谢赫·哈西娜该会的需求以及他们所遇到的困难,希望可以得到总理的协助来解决它们。
谢赫·哈西娜认真倾听了代表团的话并保证会为他们提供所有必须的帮助,和他们合作。
DHAKA, Bangladesh, Aug 26 (BSS) - A delegation of Bangladesh Buddha Krishti Prochar Shangha led by its President Shuddhananda Mahathero paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office here today.
During the meeting, the Buddhist delegation apprised the Prime Minister about their needs and problems and sought her cooperation to this end.
Welcoming the delegation, the Prime Minister said Bangladesh is a land of religious harmony with the people of all faiths living together peacefully in this country.
"Our government is fully committed to maintain a peaceful as well as non-communalatmosphere by ensuring equal rights of all irrespective of their religious faiths and beliefs," she said.
Sheikh Hasina said Awami League believes in the non-communal spirit of the War ofLiberation and the present government would do whatever necessary for bringing welfare to the people as well as the nation.
The Prime Minister gave the delegation a patient hearing and assured them of providing all necessary cooperation to them.
